Efficiency Nova Scotia is Canada’s first energy efficiency utility. They have helped 400,000 program participants complete energy efficiency projects, helped businesses and homeowners save more than $4 billion in lifetime energy costs, including $400 million in savings for low-income homeowners and renters and avoided 10MT of C02e since 2011. In Nova Scotia, EfficiencyOne supplies cost-effective energy efficiency and carbon mitigation services through the Efficiency Nova Scotia franchise. Together, Efficiency Nova Scotia and EfficiencyOne are helping all Nova Scotians enjoy the good things efficiency brings.The rebate programs for residential homes include: Home Energy Assessment, Heating System Rebates, SolarHomes, Oil to Heat Pump Affordability (OHPA) Program, Instant Savings, HomeWarming, free residential products, Fridge and freezer recycling, and Mi'kmaw Home Energy Efficiency Project. The programs for businesses include Small Business Energy Solutions, Business Energy Rebates, Building Optimization, EV Charging Stations and Energy Management Information Systems.
