Promotion of Conversion to ZEH in Wall-type Concrete Structures
Taisei Housing Corporation has developed the "Smart Palcon ZEH" to promote the conversion of its main product, namely the concrete house "Palcon", into a ZEH, in compliance with the basic energy plan adopted by the Cabinet in 2014. The target is to achieve zero energy consumption while maintaining a comfortable living environment within the Palcon structure, which has strong performance against disasters such as earthquakes, large typhoons, and flooding. With the three factors essential for a ZEH, namely high thermal insulation, energy efficiency, and energy creation, "Smart Palcon ZEH" realizes as a safe and, a well-balanced living environment that will be maintained for a long period of time in a house with its excellent durability. Taisei housing will continue to promote and develop the concrete housing "Palcon" that maintains a comfortable living space in a everyday life, and that enables evacuation at home in a event of disaster, mainly through the "Smart Palcon ZEH".
