The Circular Eco Chair, a Decarbonized Plastic Chair That Makes Simply Sitting Sustainable

The greatest feature of this chair is that it minimizes plastic components to less than about 10%*1, allowing for the reuse and recycling of the majority of its materials. Moreover, it has roughly 60% fewer CO2 emissions compared to a typical office chair*2.

The concept we cherish is “de-plasticization”, meaning to release products that mitigate environmental issues such as plastic waste, which has become a global issue in recent years. Typical office chairs contain around 30-40% plastic (based on in-house research).

The goal behind product development was to get as close to zero plastic as possible.

The fabric on the seat and back is 100% recycled PET (recycled polyester) from PET bottles, which can be recycled into non-woven fabric, making this office chair environmentally friendly.
